Prisma Health Student Affairs Administration will register you for Learning Hub. Issues have been reported by users of Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox. Learning Hub works best using Google Chrome browser. Due dates listed in Learning Hub are not relevant for students, faculty, staff or scholars. All assigned modules must be completed prior to your rotation start date. Learning Hub is a learning management system (used by all Prisma Health employees, contract workers, students and volunteers) that provides you with important healthcare modules required to begin your faculty, staff or scholar role (HIPAA, infection control, patient rights, etc.). Researchers and staff from other institutions should contact the IRB at Prisma Health before registering and completing a CITI Training Course.

A refresher training module is required every 3 years after the Basic Human Research Course is complete. Click on the course titles to complete the required modules.

Click on the blue box that says “Continue to create your CITI Program username/password” to complete the steps required to register for your CITI account.Īfter successful registration, you will be provided a series of enrollment questions to select which course(s) you need to take.

Check the box next to “I AGREE to the terms of service for accessing CITI Program materials” and the box next to “I affirm that I am an affiliate of Prisma Health- Upstate/Prisma Health- Midlands.”.

Search for Prisma Health- Upstate OR Prisma Health- Midlands depending on your regional affiliation in the box under the heading, “Select your organization affiliation.”.

Note: Make sure to register with the same first name, last name, and email address in eIRB and CITI in order for eIRB to automatically pull your CITI records into your study application. If you are not registered with CITI, go to the CITI webiste and click on the “Register” box in the top right side of the screen.

Institutional Review Board members also must complete CITI training. This requirement may be accomplished via the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Training Course. All researchers (principal investigators, co-investigators, other research staff, and students) involved in human subject research must complete training before a requested study protocol is approved and/or before research is conducted.
